 大家都知道他是Bright Eyes唯一唱作人，也曾被冠上「Bob Dylan接班人」的沈重抬頭，在用著Bright Eyes名號走過十三個年頭後，這次Conor Oberst他竟然要出「個人大碟」，專輯封面更出乎意料採用個人照，其實除了2005年推出的《Motion Sickness: Live Recordings》現場錄音外，Bright Eyes的正式專輯封面清一色皆無Conor Oberst大頭，甚至去年的《Cassadaga》更以創意的光柵板技術（即3D立體影像）呈現專輯精神，讓設計師Zach Nipper拿下葛萊美最佳包裝設計獎（同時間角逐的還有台灣的蕭青陽《我身騎白馬》）... |
Cassadaga (2007) 這張專輯包裝該怎麼玩可看Hinoter 33或點此。台灣目前販售的是SACD殼版本，非紙盒包裝，但也可拆下底標一探究竟。 Noise Floor (Rarities 1998-2005) (2006)  Motion Sickness: Live Recordings (2005)  Digital Ash in a Digital Urn (2005)  這張是我目前最喜歡的～強力推薦〈Gold Mine Gutted〉（有奇怪的Fan Video可看）！！ I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning (2005)  與上面《Digital Ash in a Digital Urn》以雙專輯形式推出，前者帶電子，後者純民謠。這張我也很愛。 Lifted or The Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground (2002)  Fevers and Mirrors (2000)  原版專輯是真的有「鏡子」可以照，可惜我買到的不是 @@ Letting Off the Happiness (1998)  A Collection of Songs Written and Recorded 1995-1997 (1998)  新專輯封面來了... Conor Oberst - Conor Oberst (2008)  看來在夜裡夢幻漂浮著、愜意躺著吊床的Conor Oberst，這回領著自己廠牌旗下的藝人組成之The Mystic Valley Band，與長期合作的製作人Andy LeMaster（R.E.M. / Pacific UV / Azure Ray），在墨西哥Tepoztlan, Morelos此處某個佈滿阿茲提克文化、號稱很有外太空感的山中別墅Valle Mistico的臨時錄音室，於今年1、2月期間錄製，官網釋出了兩支單曲，值得聽聽看，〈Danny Callahan〉撿拾著慧詰的民謠精神，而〈Souled Out!!!〉則吐露出土灰色的鄉村餘味，我猜，或許有著向Bright Eyes始創時期取經之意。 Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band - Danny Callahan Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band - Souled Out!!! 這邊還有個Live版的〈Danny Callahan〉，招牌的抖音依舊，褪下了《Cassadaga》激動的批判，更加Low-Fi的手觸，好聽至極！ Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band - Danny Callahan (Live)
